About the role
Build and run the infrastructure behind our AI-native SaaS platform. You own reliable delivery of the Python backend and Next.js frontend, orchestration of AI/ML workloads (computer vision, forecasting, LLM agents) and everything between commit and production. A small founder-led team means real ownership of IaC, observability and the release process.
What you will do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI) with automated build, test, deploy and rollback
- Operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) - deployment, scaling, troubleshooting of services and AI/ML workloads
- Describe all infrastructure as code with Terraform; keep staging and production consistent
- Containerize apps with Docker and run PostgreSQL, Redis, a message broker and object storage
- Build observability - metrics, logs, alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and respond to incidents
- Manage secrets, access control and basic cloud security (IAM, network policies)
- Optimize cloud cost and the performance of CPU/GPU-intensive AI workloads
- Partner with backend and AI/ML teams to standardize deployment of new services
What we expect
- 3+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
- Hands-on AWS in production (EC2/EKS/RDS/S3/IAM)
- Strong Kubernetes - deployment, scaling, networking, troubleshooting
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (or equivalent) on a real project
- Building and maintaining CI/CD (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / ArgoCD)
- Confident with Docker and containerized workloads
- Scripting/automation with Python (or Bash/Go)
- Solid Linux and networking fundamentals
